Luckily, as far as fashion goes, trends, or what's 'in vogue' (as was once the term), is becoming SO much more diversified. Of course we'll still see particular themes emerge within designer collections each season, and yes we'll see these trends filter through to the streets, however I don't think that there's anything any more that's "not" in fashion. To me it's more about mixing and matching just about anything (just take a look at blogger Susie Bubble), the cleverest of the fashionistas with their quirky yet appealing combinations, becoming the inspiration for the rest of us.
So back to today's theme, and the colour of the "moment" (I think that's the most appropriate word to use) seems to be anything purple, grape or plum. Choose any berry colour you like for that matter, and it's up to you if you want to go head-to-toe Anna Dello Russo style or just add one simple piece for a pop of colour. I think I'll be adding a splash of purple to my ensemble - today anyway!
