RAFW 2011 Rosemount Australian Fashion Week Day 2 (Part 3) Guanabana, Little Joe, Miss Unkon

Guanabana
 (Yes that's a real snake)

Guanabana's North African inspired spring summer collection opened with the model holding a magnificent albino python and as a traditional snake charmer would charm a snake through rhythm and music everyone was hypnotically silent as each piece of the exotic collection came out. A stunning mix of bohemian allure and relaxed glamour, the 'Casablanca' collection was full of stunning pieces you would wear on their own on relaxed summer days and then simply add jewellery and accessories to merge into the night.

Little Joe

Miss Unkon

Miss Unkon
's spring summer 2011/12 collection titled Girls with Kaleidoscope Min
ds encompassed all of the whimsical and eclectic elements that fans of the label have come to expect and love. Designer Courney Meyer created a dreamlike setting for the show with dimly lit lighting from huge round globes hanging from the ceiling. The models with their braided Pocahontas style hair and tribal body paint complimented Miss Unkon's signature style of  floaty dresses, delicate fabrics and soft pastel colour palettes. Another stunning and no doubt hugely successful collection that will again raise the Miss Unkon profile even higher in the Australian fashion market.

Feeling Gives Rise To Emotion

All thoughts require energy and when you use energy to have a thought of any kind you produce acidic waste products. If you want to reduce acidity then you have to stop thinking. That is why mediation or going to NO thought is so healing. As per fear - I have suggested that fear is the opposite of faith which stands for the First Attribute IN Thinking Healthy. Faith is a power when exercised miracles can happen. I personally believe in the power of faith and have seen it work in a positive healing way. As per your comment on emotions. Emotions are dictated by feelings. Emotion is the energy behind the feeling. Love is a feeling NOT an emotion. An emotion is energy in motion such as showing or expressing anger when your feelings are hurt. But what is the emotion or the energy in motion that is expressing love? I would suggest that an alkalizing lifestyle and diet would be the correct emotion for the true feeling of love for self and others.

Uscari (My favourite so far)

(Sorry about the lack of photos but I was so excited just watching the show, most of my photos ended up blurry!)

Uscari was the show on day one that really took my breath away. I've been watching designer Krystel Davis evolve as not only a designer but an artist over the past few years and her work just keeps getting better and better.

Her Spring/Summer collection named “Sequence of Light” showcased a mix of crisp whites and buttery cream tones, multiple textures and the most beautiful detail using, fringing, lace and knits. A label that is just SO beautiful and innovative every single season, to me USCARI is one the new(ish) Australian labels to keep a close eye on.
