Some facts about high heels and Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW):
- Models would walk the equivalent of 130km if they were in every show at RAFW
- On average, fashion editors will only sit for approximately 180 minutes and are on their feet - socialising, networking, walking and lining up - for the remaining six hours each day
- A total of 1026 pairs of high heels will be worn by models at this year’s RAFW
- The highest heel ever made was by LadyBWear with 11 inch platforms and 16 inch heels

Katy Perry is rumoured to be making an appearance at RAFW. The singer who has just been announced as the new global face of ghd, will arrive in Sydney on May 3 ahead of her performance at the Entertainment Centre the following night.
