Button it

It's really interesting when you spot a subtle "micro-trend" emerge. A particular style that appears in a few different collections, each designer doing their own version of the look but essentially, it's pretty much the same thing.

It seems the button up maxi shirt dress is going to be a popular little look this Autumn with a few major brands all releasing their own variations this month. I love how it's a combination of two of my favourite styles, the shirt dress and a floaty maxi dress. 

Worn on it's own, belted or unbuttoned over another outfit (as a casual longer style jacket). It's conveniently multi-purpose and looks SO comfortable. What do you think?
